Magnets to the windshields

Ok folks little help, I just had new windshields installed in the GV and I need to reinstall the magnets for the shade, anybody have any idea what was used to cement the on. They were on when we bought the bus.

Andy,
If they were magna shades, it was a 3M tape.  You can call magna shade and tell them you had to remove the magnets and you need to replace the tape. Depending on how many you have, they may send you some precut.

You can probably go to any body shop and get some double sticky back 3M tape...I know cuz I own a body shop and we have it in all widths...

I would think that it doesn't need to be super strong as it's only holding the weight of the magnet and it's small shared portion of the weight of the shade.

I have a factory installed Magnesahde. A magnet came loose recently. They used some type of clear adhesive, not tape.

Video at magna shadr says VHB adhesive is already on magnet Google VHB very high bond tape. Lots of info and suppliers

It's VHB tape I have lots of spares if you need one.
