Wordworking Term

Woodworking guys. What do you call the tool that drills these shallow diagonal kerfs? I need to drill several of them for a little project I'm working on. Thanks.

Can't be sure from the picture. Biscuit joiner. Pocket drill (like Kreg)?

Those are pocket screw holes.  Done by hand with a jig a drill bit drills a flat bottomed hole with a small hole at the end for a pocket screw.  These are used to join  or wood together using glue and a screw.  The picture shows a machine cut pocket done with a tilting router and router bit to,cut the slot and a drill bit to make the pilot hole.

A suitable clamp, this Kreg MKJKIT Mini Kreg Jig Kit - Pocket Hole Jigs - Amazon.com and a little  experimentation is all you need...

That is, assuming you already have a long number 2 Robertson bit...

Thanks to all. I learned something. Knew I could count on you experts. I ordered the little Amazon deal. Probably only use it for this one little project. In reviewing my original post title, I'm surprised I didn't get some suggestions on editing documents.
