 I only added up the "allowed".

5,240# (5,400 allowed) should be  5,240# (10,000 allowed)?

I am guessing the 5,400 is the GVW of the Jeep. but the coach can tow up to 10,000

First there is the maximum allowed axel weight, the combined maximum weight of the front and rear axels is the GVW.
GVW is the gross vehicle weight only - the towd weight has nothing to do with this weight - this is the combined allowable weights...
