We were told it was done at Foretravel. I called Foretravel and they said that their online records only go back to 2012 so they couldn't confirm but they looked at pictures and were more than willing to take credit for it. The granite floor looks identical to a 2012 IH 45 that is on CL all over the country so it looks likely that they used some of the same material.

Hope you are still enjoying your beautiful coach. We bought our 2004 U295 (not remodelled) in July but just joined the Foreforum today.

Just saw this post... sweet looking ride. Welcome to the forums. It's what makes owning a Foretravel worth it imo. Great group. Unless you can afford to have all your work done by "professionals" this is the place to be.

Be sure to call Beverly at Foretravel and join the Foretravel motorcade club and get "your" numbers to go on the front.. we just got home from the grandvention, there were over 60 coaches there... pretty impressive and met a lot of nice people!

Lovely coach, great exterior and a lovely interior, we bought our 99, 36' in April, have already put 6000 miles on it and enjoy heading out every minute we get a break from work.
Hope you enjoy yours as much as we are enjoying ours.
We are heading to Nag at the end of the week for a headlight conversion, restricting, changing out interior colors etc.
we love the solid ride and the shorter rigs are so much easier in some of the older campgrounds.
Have fun, we have used the forum extensively and everyone has been a great help.
Have you applied for the fuel card?

We had looked at that coach before it was sold. And I quote; my wife said if ever there was a coach built for her that was the one. Just beautiful. Congratulations. Nice coach. Just curious did you ever get it weighed? Was curious on how heavy it was.

I'll second the question about the weight.  I'm curious.

I'm curious also as to what the weight of the front axle is and what tire pressure is being run.

I also looked at Country Coach and Dutch Star before going with Foretravel. 1998 U270 36' is our ride; forum and factory support were two key factors in final decision. The company of "owners" on the forum are amazing.

Hi Everyone,

Some how right after we bought the coach work got really busy.

On the weight, we have not been able to go out and get it weighed yet. I did discuss this with the prior owner.

Counters were solid surface originally so this should be similar weight. Backsplash is probably additional weight.
Flooring originally was probably a mix of carpet up front with tile in the kitchen and bath. So it is the additional weight of replacing the carpet . Granite tile vs ceramic might also be a bit heavier (I just read granite 23 lbs/sq ft vs ceramic tile 21 lbs/sq ft).
The shower was solid surface and a glass door originally so this should be similar weight.
Replacing the desk and chair with a small sofa is probably about equivalent.

Without measuring the amount of new granite tile, I would guess that maybe 1500 lbs have been added but it definitely would be good to get it weighed. Most of the weight addition would be on the front axle. We aren't full time so we aren't overly loaded with belongings.

I believe we were # 83 getting there and I was told they were still a few more that had not made it yet.
