Kitchen faucet attributes.

I am going to replace my kitchen faucet, it will be chrome or maybe brushed stainless but the two main attributes I think I want are similar to the picture below.

Valve on the side not the center back.
Taller spout
Pull down sprayer hose, bell shaped so I can hang on to it.

Any cons to my thinking?

None I can think of for the faucet itself. It's tight under the sink on mine, I had to disconnect the sprayer hose to re-seal the factory one on mine. I had to remove the sliding shelf under the sink to get my head and arms in there.

I know it will be tight, I have been putting off replacing the shutoff valve to the ice maker so now I will have a excuse to open it all up and fix all of it at one time.  I was never a fan of the white one and now that it is leaking its time for a change  ^.^d

I just got done installing the faucet like the one you show from my kitchen to the coach. It was tight for this fat boy to get the old faucet out. I thought installing the unit  would be a " piece of cake" ....but Murphy came to visit. Seems that the coach connection to the PEX isn't standard 3/8" fitting. I had to cut off the female connection on the PEX and installed Shark Bite male connectors. That just took a few minutes. Hooked up everything, and it works just fine. BIG improvement over the OE faucet.

Thanks GleamB, I will get the old one out and then start seeing what it takes.  I do have PEX crimper and rings but if it needs something else there is  a Lowes and ACE about 8 miles down the road "LOL"

Here is what I have for a starting point, this circle is the valve before I twisted the petcock handle off.

I had almost that exact faucet in our coach. It is a GREAT improvement because of it's height.  Can be used as a "pot filler " on the stove because of the length of the pull-out, and made it easy to refil the reservoir on the Keurig on the other side of the sink. Never an issue!

I did the same thing with almost the same faucet a couple of months ago.  The removal was as difficult as the new install.  I ended up dismantling the old white faucet from the top, cut it off  (carefully) with a sawzall and dropped it all through the bottom.  New style compression connectors on the included water lines hooked up to the old lines with an adapter from ACE hardware.  Good Luck and keep the Advil handy!!
