Keyless entry fob reprogramming
I think I have read most of the post concerning reprogramming a remote, but my question may be a little different.
First, the instructions say to hold the button until the chirps. Mine doesn't chirp until you release the button, then I followed the instructions, I pushed the lock button on the new remote and held until I heard the chirp and it locked the coach, then I picked up the original remote and pushed the lock button until I heard it lock, then I cycled the key again and tried the remotes. The original worked as it did originally, but the new remote would not operate the locks. I tried it again and I watched as the new remote would lock the door during programming, so after it locked the door I released the button and unlocked the door then I pushed the lock button on the original fob and it locked the door. I then exited the programming and again the original fob works but the new fob does not.
Any suggestions?
