Valve for Ice Maker
I picked up my kitchen faucet today so while I am under there I need to replace this as it has since broken.



I have found some replacements but they look the same and I was wondering if anyone can see what I am missing.

Steve,

What is broken on that valve?
Is the handle is just spinning on the stem?
If the body is good and not cracked you could just pull the stem out and replace with a new stem.

If you just want a valve to turn the water off, cut the 1/4" line and put a valve in there.

Try this one then, just cut the 1/2" pex valve out and install

You can find those shark bites at any home center or hardware store.

Lowe's makes a 1/4 turn valve that you can put in with compression ring, the one pictured goes to water filter but they stock one like it with a 1/4" fitting for ice maker. They also stock one that is shark bite(brass)  for pex tubing. Others may...
