Transmission Temperature sender?

Shared album - mark hubbard - Google Photos

Looking at 90 degree elbow on top. You will see a little nut like nub.  I need to know if this is the transmission temperature sender. It was returned to me like this which results in no temperature reading on transmission. Also if anyone knows if this is a Foretravel part or general supply or Allison part? Thanks Muther

Yes that is the temp. probe. I can't tell from the pic. if the little post that the spade connector slides on is still there or is broken off. Those are not anything special. I have gotten a replacement off the net for a VDO temp gage.

You have educated and enlightened me. That explains the single spade. Thank you so much. Muther
