Guess I will have to break out my Briel Espresso machine!  Nothing like a good cup of espresso in the mornings!

I've tried the pour overs & french press but have been won over by the AeroPress. Use it at least once a day.

Amazon.com: AeroPress Coffee and Espresso Maker - Makes 1-3 Cups of Delicious...

I've also added this accessory. (I know it costs almost as much as the AeroPress but is worth it)

Amazon.com: Fellow Prismo, Pressure-Actuated Attachment for AeroPress Coffee...

It replaces the strainer and creates a really nice crema that you don't get with the stock strainer.

Call me a heathen, never used chewing tobacco or snuff, but a pinch of fresh coffee grounds between the lip and gum works. Can't knock it till you have tried it.  thank you Rodger on the Peet's decaf. suggestion some time ago, it's very good.

Great machine but she has told me twice how to get regular coffee from it.. turn this knob/ push that knob/ twist this knob.. what ever happened to just filling with water loading with coffee and pushing the button?

Well there you go. I want to load coffee into a filter or insert a pod and press a button and have a cup of coffee. No encyclopedic pre-brew check lists for this simple guy.
Some of these new machines remind me of the old Yamaha motorcycle adverts from years ago. A professional is running a bike boot camp. A rider looks at the instructor and says. "Hey mister, I just wanna ride."

KISS, not sure if could stand to go thru all this trouble when i wake up.  Sharp tastes or bold flavors are the spice of life. Horseradish coffee may jumpstart me in the morning, to go with hot pepper on the eggs.

KISS is good with me. And I always have Cayenne & Black pepper on hand. I hardly ever use salt and haven't for decades.

But if others like their complex coffee rituals. I say good on them. 'Each to their own'  is the phrase of the day. ^.^d

Have a Jura Ena 1, fits nice in the bottom of the pullout cabinet.  Yes a bit expensive, but we have 15 years and over 6000 cups in our Jura at home.  So I think it works out,  One button really great coffee.

We use a Behmor. Space age looking thing that mimics a Chemex without all the work. We also keep a Chemex on board as a back-up. We try to buy local coffee wherever we are, but also add in more readily available brands to help keep the cost down. Hands down, our favorite coffee is Katz Pecan Roast which is made in Texas... we didn't know about it when we lived in Texas!
Coffee is important to us. Not quite coffee snobs, but close. Whatever it costs... it's worth it!

A Keurig with the K-cups is easiest for us when camping.

Our coffee is complicated...My bride loves things other people have..we use a standard Cuisinart drip deal at home...with Black Rifle coffee..(love the stuff). We buy it once a month on a program..comes in the mail. We have been on Keto diet for over two years..so we make bullet coffee every morning..Heavy whipping cream, Redmonds salt, Kerrigold grass fed butter and MCT oil and put it all in blender..yeah we do that. Addicted is probably a better term...but of course in the lap of luxury we call a Coach..we must have a Kuerig (sp)..because other cool kids have one...I prefer my dripper at home...but I do compromise for the mop pusher sometimes...

We use Nespresso, original line. I drink it addictively and it gets expensive. When we retire in 1 year, something's gotta give. Come to think of it, a cup of espresso would be good right now.

For you guys that drink coffee.............

A Harvard study done a few years ago showed that 4 - 5 cups a day of caffeinated or decaf coffee reduced the chances of getting prostate cancer by 40%.  That's significant!
