PowerTech PTS MH-10 Generator -- what spares should we carry

Recently purchased a 1997 U320.  I have been reading lots of old posts regarding typical generator issues such as pressure indicators, etc that are inexpensive fixes if you have an available spare.

Would appreciate any recommendations on what spares to carrier (generator or otherwise) along with part numbers if available.

Thanks

Hopefully, we just finished a couple of weeks powering the house during the winds and fires in California with our U300. The Powertech ran fine except for blowing a hidden hose right above the crank pulley. You can pull the radiator in about 15 minutes but we had to rummage through a junk pile to finally find an old VW Vanagon hose with the right bend to fit. Going to have to pull the radiator again but this time, I will make a one piece pipe to go all the way from one side to the other.

Good question, and I do not know.  How do I find out?  Are there markings I should look for?

Hope the fires are under control now and you had not issues other that power outages.

Likely power plants for the generator are Kubota or Isuzu.

Should see marking on the block.

I'm pretty sure the Kubota is a 4 cylinder while the Isuzu is 3 cylinder.

I do not have access to the coach at the moment, but the owner's manual indicates it is a Kubota diesel engine.

Here is the Kubota page with part numbers for filters, etc. This is for the 15Kw model but filters/hoses should be the same.

Will post fotos when I have finished the coolant pipe modification.

Yes, winds have died down for the moment and rain is forecast in a couple of weeks. Not so in SoCal with fire season year around now.

Lots of problems in the area around us. With power off, the burglar alarms didn't work and a friend came home to a thief in the house. Lots of rip-off in stores plus a lot of businesses or homeowners don't have insurance of a power company intentional black out.
