Controller for fans

Every coach with the 180 degree controller will benefit from the 199 degree controller.

1 mpg or more?.  50hp?

Your hoses are already there.

I'm not sure that would work on the Detroits.
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the Detroits start shutting down somewhere around 200 - 205 degrees?
I do find the concept intriguing.

I do not know what fan controller a 93 Detroit has. If it has electrical wiring to its fan speed controller I think it's a sauer/danfoss?

They replacement kit shown can be installed if you weld a bung as far as I understand.

The replacement wax capsule controller starts out idling regardless of temp.

At 185 the fan speed starts a ramp up in speed reaching its max speed at 199.

The Cummins  engines thermostat do not open fully until 195.

So you see the issue.  The 180 units start ramping up at 165.

So as our motors warm up our fans go to full speed always.

60hp consumed.  Oil runs hotter.  Power reduced to wheels.  Mpg lost.  System wears faster hot
