MOT fix the water heater which was not working on gas, it worked the day they fixed it and as soon as they closed their doors and we left NAG it quit working again and we are boondocking, guess I will just run the generator if I want to wash! Reply #6 – December 15, 2019, 08:52:25 am To answer questions: I have no idea what they did to it, they finished working on it and sent it over to Xtreme who have had it for a month, picked it up there on Friday afternoon and went back to MOT to get some other incorrectly finished items addressed in the few minutes we had on Friday before they closed. I will call them on Monday to find out what they did. As to fixing it, because it was getting a lot (WHOLE LOT) of work done in four places over seven weeks I removed all my tools and just about everything else from the storage bays - I will be home late Tuesday and will take a look at what's happening. MOT had this gas turned off at the tank, pure genius that you said that, when I read it I said "I never shut it off" then remembered that MOT filled the tank and the valve was OFF 30 years of RV ownership and the brain is evidently not what it was Thank you! I changed out a high resistance sail switch in the front furnace for a new switch. I buttoned everything up. I turned up the thermostat and listened to the furnace cycle including hearing the gas valve close. I did it twice to be certain.I took a deep breath and went to close the main gas valve again . . .
