Remote start stopped working

Good evening. I replaced all 3 belts today. When I went to try the remote start in the engine bay, it no longer clicks or starts. I've checked and all the wires seem attached to the panel. Is there a fuse somewhere or breaker? I cut a few ty-raps out that were really tight and replaced them with a bit of slack. Unless it's a coincidence and quit but mighty suspicious. It worked fine a few days ago. I disconnected the AC single wire to reroute it at the connector but shouldn't have anything to do with the start
Thanks

I would check the remote start switch to see if it is functioning then check the aux. start solenoid to see if it has died.

Don't need ignition on. It actually locks the key out when activated. Starts fine with key inside. where is the aux.start solenoid? In the engine bay I presume? It's very odd it quit when I worked on changing the belts. I'll see if I have power to the switch tomorrow, Any fuse? for the aux. start relay? I no longer hear the relay click wherever it was when I flip the switch to on position.

Located on the Isolator board, (if it hasn't been moved) it is behind the bay door that is behind the drivers side rear door. (the one behind the rear wheels)

Yes it should be breaker #19 hid behind the kick panel in front of the passengers seat. OEM this is a self resetting breaker but could have gone bad.

I was under the impression that remote start won't work unless ignition key is in the on position.

The later coaches don't have a switch, just start and stop buttons.

For safety and security the ignition has to be on as far as I know.  Unless someone rewired it

I am on the road and don't have all my prints with me. If someone has a copy of the A-4752 print for a '96 coach (IIRC) it will show that the remote start switch/button is wired in after the keyed ignition switch in the dash. So you shouldn't need the key to start it with the remote.

Just an FYI the power to the OEM fuel Winn fuel filter also came off the power side of the start button on those year coaches.

Interesting. Never needed to have keyed ignition on period. If I figure it out today, i'll be sure and post the results

Our '95 U240 will also start with the remote switch even without the key in the ignition.

Related story: Took my Monaco rv to local diesel injection pump and service shop. When I picked it up they started the engine from the outside, pulled it up front for me to take to my storage.  Next time I went to start at storage yard, it would not start. Called for roadside service from another HD truck repair garage. He came, jumped it with monster roadside service truck, and nothing.  After removing  service truck jump, he told me to go in rv and start. It did, telling me what the other shop had done, we both had a laugh.  He refused to charge me as the other shop were friends of his.

:)  ;) Ok. Update. When replacing the belts I wiggled the wires going to the remote starter panel and ty-wrapped them better. There was severe corrosion on the back side of the toggle switch and one of the terminals fell off. Got a new Cole-Hersee 25amp toggle, cleaned all the connections and it works fine. It works without the key to start and stop the engine. If the ignition is on, it will start the engine but you can't turn it off without the key turned off.  So no need for the keyed ignition on this model.
Thanks for all the help
