Haven't had my coach weighed yet. The plate says cold single 115, dual 94, tag 70. Is it safe to say just run with those numbers until I have a good wheel weight? I'm assuming the "single" would be the front.

Yes, "single" is the front tires. Yes, it is perfectly safe to run the manufacturer plate pressures until you get your coach weighed.

Many owners run this "plate" pressure all the time. The ride may be a little "firm" but steering/handling will be very precise.

Use a good quality pressure gauge. Check the pressures when the tires are "cold". Best time is first thing in the morning before the sun shines directly on the tires.

Plate pressures are calculated to support the maximum allowable weight (GAWR) on each axle, assuming the tires are OEM size/load rated.

The max air pressure for the tires is embossed on the side of the tire. Just don't go over that.

Thanks! The prior owner ran 110 all the way around for some reason. I knew that wasn't right.

"Some" tire manufacturers say do not run tires lower 75 psi I would recommend running the tag at 75 psi.

We have always run ours at 110 all the way around. No tag.

The PO had all four corners weighed, I had files and went with that UNTIL I realized the 'PO after the PO" had changed tire sizes, so I had it re-weighed (with 50% of fuels and water/holidng tanks) and went with the new guidelines; it SURE rides better!

I do need to get weighed. The escapees SmartWeigh at Bushnell, FL would be close but is marked as closed. Not sure if it's temporary or permanent.

Although Escapees SmartWeigh is the best advertised 4-corner weighing service, there are others. Seems like in Florida at this time of the year, with all the snowbirds hanging out there, somebody would be offering that service. Might try asking at the big RV service centers, or at the big Class A RV resorts. See if they can recommend a mobile weighing service?

I run 110psi for the steer, 95 for drive and 80 for the tag in our similar coach. I use Escapees Smart Weigh regularly.
