Your English writing is fine, no problem, no issue with understanding. I only speak English and am jealous of your language ability. My wife's native language is Portugese, has two degrees in English and Grammer and two certificates from the University of Oregon to teach English as a second language, and Spanish as a second language, to grad students. I so understand, English is not easy to learn, let alone write. Keep up your posts, they are better than just fine.
Your washer/dryer should be fine. The one I had years ago opperated fine, just took longer to dry. Often I did small loads and hung up cloths to dry in shower.
I find it interesting you say "of course we learn English in school". Here in the US most only speak English and do not grasp the knowing of how learning multiple languages opens so many new horizons.
I worked for Volswagen for 15 years in the US as a dealer for VW, and went to every Stuttgart auto show during that time. Had a great time, wish I'd spoke German.
