Shiny Tank

I posted a few years ago on the fuel tank in my 270. The tank had been removed by a Cummins dealer to do the fuel lines. Judging from this and other work they did on this rig, it's a pretty sloppy joint. They must have told the caulker to find every tube of silicone he could and make sure the tank was hermetically sealed. Anyhow, I got it cleaned up but didn't get around to shining up the tank,

We have had to postpone our next trip so I've been casting around for projects. Finally got to it. The tank was covered with silicone so I went at it with a DA and 80 grit. Went finer until it got shiny.

Nice job John.
Now you have given me an idea, although I still am unloading from our winter trip. Just a few things left then a good clean and vacumm in the bays.
