Black and Gray tank sensor?

Can anyone tell me what these are....the white fittings in the tank outflow elbows with the 3 wires?  There's one on each tank?  2001 U320...looks unmolested/original.  I'm stumped.

Just discovered the fiddly bits this week whilst installing Tornado tank flushers.  Lots of gymnastics (and cussing) while working around/underneath/behind the slide room support truss.

They look like sensors and may tell you if tanks are empty as they are before the valve's. I have electronic valve gates with sensors to let you know when they are open or closed but have not seen the ones you have before.

Agree with John - probably some type of hydrostatic pressure/level sensors.

Where is the display panel for your tank levels?  Do you have the OEM factory system, or a after-market system?

They are the sensors for your black and gray tanks. You also should have one for the fresh water tank, on the other side of coach where your water pump is. I've had success in cleaning them when they weren't reading correctly. They areOEM and believe FOT parts still carry them.

Thanks for clearing this up guys.  Had no idea hydrostatic sensors were used...always thought it was capacitance tapes in there.  And sure enough, in my manual under Audit diagram it shows the sensors clearly.  I'm glad FOT has the parts if one of em craters.  My Javelina tank monitor portion is still working...knock on wood...but I've bypassed the camera and tossed the roof compass unit.  Thanks again.

Thanks, Now I know where these are. FOT upgraded our system to a "Sensatank RV100" but has not been reading well (go figure) I'll look into replacement sensors.
