Bedliner Material

Just kind of thinking out loud here, so to speak, but have any of you applied bedliner to the "rocker panel" area of your coach? Do any of you technical gurus know if the tolerances on the compartment doors would allow it?

Thoughts? Advice?

Thank you in advance, by the way!  You are all so knowledgeable and kind!

Stainless Steel Armor, looks really nice but is kinda pricy 6" all around bottom is about 3K and adds 70 pounds to coach

Any pictures, Chris? I've considered stainless, I like the look, but the tin table Bedliner in a Navy blue is appealing too.

I had LineX sprayed on the front lower cap of my previous coach, a 94 Bluebird BMC 37'.  Still had tolerance (space) for the power generator door slide.

Held up great, easier to get the bugs off as well. Never showed damage from gravel dings.

The bottom stripe on our coach is bed liner with a color added making it solid color even if chipped
We had it some at Xtreme last year in place of the heavy vinyl stripe.
Sorry I don't have a better photo right now.
Don't remember the cost, we had so much done there

When I lived in Iceland. I repainted and rebuilt a few trucks and jeeps.
It was normal at that time to just obtain standard undercoating. Spray or gallon can. Apply it to primer coat. Then shoot the final finish ontop. Always worked perfect.
Other normal things. Strap the doors.otherwise the wind would rip it so that doors were now against front fenders.
Seeing what we think of as luxury cars Mercedes, volvo and the like. Come driving to areas where I drove in 4x4 in my Blazer. Always a stunner.
If you love outdoors. Go to Iceland before its destroyed.!

I can not vouch for the bottom stripe finish. It looks good and does not scratch, at least I have not scratched it yet. It's definitely better than the vinyl stripe that was there and much better than paint.
It does not show the light road dirt that was visible on the vinyl stripe.
We just had it done at the end of last year and got it back mid December, with the "no travel" situation we have not driven much more than about 1000 miles since then.
Do we like the look, the finish? YES
In fact we love everything about our "old" Foretravel!
