Conti Air Bags

I have gotten several messages of where to buy the Conti Air Bag at the best price. For those wanting to buy overseas, here is an example of what is available: Contitech AS9448 Air Spring - Crosses With 64286 / W01-358-9448 / 1R11-150 Cross ref: Contitech AS9448 Air Spring - Crosses With 64286 / W01-358-9448 / 1R11-150.

A general source is Alibaba, the ebay of Asia: Contitech As9448 Air Spring-Contitech As9448 Air Spring Manufacturers,...

It's been several years since I ordered air bags so wondering who has ordered lately domestically? Please attach link and price if possible.

I have ordered hundreds of items from Asia and have never failed to receive the item. Even a 41 foot sailboat.

I got mine from FinditParts about 2-1/2 years ago for cheap ($73.04 ea).

I have referred others to FIP and noticed a price increase to around $86.00 but now I don't see that they even list them anymore.

CA in the price means Canadian. Go to the green area above and then to the right. You can choose the currency you want the price in. Use the contact form at the site. Using Google, there are quite a few other Asian sites if you use the Contitech AS9448. The other numbers are for Goodyear, Firestone, etc. I use PayPal but a credit card is OK as if you don't receive the product, you get you $ back.

The least expensive I have found domestically is $124.

The virus may be slowing the air bags delivery from Europe as the production facilities may have temporally shut down.

Expect as soon as business open again (if), they will be back in stock. Our mailbox has Asian goodies almost every day so they still have the supplies. In the meanwhile, stick a tubeless tire plug in the bag and wait.

Out of stock at Finditparts. Truck and trailer.parts has them for $159 with 2 in stock. I rolled the dice and ordered 4 from Ovekhu for $97.87. Hopefully delivery time is reasonable. Thanks Pierce.

I've never used Oveku so thank me when you receive them.

Most of my orders are smaller so come by air. Heavier may take at least 3 weeks. Hopefully, good communication with the shipping date.

Update - two plus weeks since I ordered 4 Contitech airbags form ovekhuhoi. They sent me tracking link when they shipped and the bags have been "exported". They have submitted package information to USPS but no USPS tracking data as of yet. I may be foolish, but 4 bags for $98 delivered will hopefully pay off.

USPS won't show tracking information until the package from China clears customs. Does the tracking number begin with "9" and contain 22 digits? If not you have a China Post number.

All new to me. Tracking number is 13 digits and starts with LS. "Airline departure" is today's update.

Now it depends on U.S. Customs and how fast they clear it. I shipped cars and wooden toys to the States from overseas via Flying Tigers and they cleared immediately even with making a formal entry. On the other hand, I bought a Russian long lens from Japan. It arrived in just several hours in Los Angeles and I was happily awaiting postal delivery. Don't know if it was because it was Russian or what but Customs held on to it for almost a month before releasing it to the post office.

Gambled and lost. The "shipment" arrived today. Instead of 4 Contitech AS9448 airbags, I received a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses, that I highly suspect of being counterfeit. Emailed customer support and will dispute the charge. Live and learn.

Nice, got a free package from China with a ring, almost threw away. Took it to pawn shop, they gave us $75.00 on trade in on bike.
