Stair cover/step

I have a couple of questions related to the subject. I understand that the new Norgren solenoid V61R517AA312JB is the replacement for the original Norgren part. (2004 U270). My question is do I need to purchase two of the new solenoids  and plumb them side by side with an additional new regulator?
The original setup has three sets of wires (green/white), the replacement solenoid has one three prong connector.  Even if using two new solenoids I still have only two connection points not three.  I am missing what should be an obvious conclusion but after giving the subject much thought I thing it better to just ask.

Thanks in advance

I appreciate the "How it works" articles on the step / stair slide. I read them before I asked my original question about reworking the two stacked Norgren oem solenoid valves.
My question is #1 Do I need to purchase two of the updated Norgren solenoids to operate the two separate pneumatic systems. Or can one of the new ones be installed to provide air to both systems. Sounds like a dumb question but unless I ask I won't know for sure.

#2. If I do need two new solenoids what is the correct way to wire them. There are presently three sets of wires (green white)
But if I use two new style Norgeen solenoids each have spade terminals on only one end.
I do appreciate your help!

Hello fellow FT owners. Sure would like to hear from a couple of you folks that have more knowledge than I concerning the conversion to the new style Norgren replacement solenoid/pneumatic valve.
Thanks again

I would say that you need one valve for each thing that you are trying to make work. If there are 3 terminals on the valve I would think that only 2 would be used. Probably have to experiment which terminals to use.
