One more &*^%^$ Creepy!

Wouldn't you know it. I just finished fixing "all" my creepy windows. Yesterday I opened the entry door and separated the screen door and... argggggghhhhh ANOTHER CREEPY!!! Well, at least it's a small window and should be pretty easy in comparison to those big babies. Check out my interim fix which I have used in the past. I put a strip of back vinyl across the top of the window and voila! no more creepy.

Anyhow, I'll have to fix this some day and I was thinking it would be fun to do some glass etching when I have the window out. Maybe some kind of nifty crest or whatever. I've got a good blaster but I don't have a vinyl cutter or anything else. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with glass etching and might be willing to share some advice regarding equipment and technique. Thanks.

Actually laughed out loud, put black vinyl along the top. Great idea. I've seen advertisements for vinyl cutting everywhere, eBay, Craigslist and all the CAD vinyl cutting shops. Practice with the sandblasting, lower pressures, finer mediums. I've  played with my cabinet but always have too large aggressive sand. Not soft looking. Still fun.

Your inside picture does look like the screen door has been removed. Which screws do you have to remove to remove the screen door?

Thanks,

Didn't see your post, Trent. Actually, I didn't remove the screen door, however, if you do want to take it off, just remove the four screws from each of the two hinges. Easy peasy.
