Temperature Dial in Basement Storage

In my 2001 34' U270, there is a thermostat 80-130 degrees F dial on the storage compartment side of the bulkhead separating the storage compartment from the water heater and pump. It appears to be associated with a fan in the storage compartment.I can't find any information on it. What is it for?

Is your inverter charger in that compartment?

As Craneman implied, it is probably for the exhaust fan in the compartment to keep the temp down due to the electronics.  Needed when the coach is in high ambient locations.  My thermostat is much more industrial looking.

I found the power to my fan had come disconnected.  Made a big difference in compartment temps when I got the power reconnected and the thermostat set to about 95 degrees.

All inverter/charges lose power when too hot.  Obviously Foretravel owners noticed this.  So the factory added thermostat controlled exhaust fans.  Being as they are in east Texas and hot and humid a lot of the year it stands to reason. I did post I had seen these before.

The equipment selection might need to include temp construction if you may intend to be in hot and humid and/or altitude and hard use?

Derating starts at 104F on most units. 

Not everyone can move to where the first number in the high temps is 7.

Yes my inverter charger is in the compartment as is some other electronics. Thanks to all.
