replacing isolator and breakers

Going to replace my main isolator and both solenoids and breakers on the panel under the mh. I would assume take negative cable off the engine batteries and coach batteries before Starting or is there a different option?
Thanks

So, Did you replace the isolator with an OEM diode or non-diode isolator or a magnetic latching combiner? Inquiring minds want to know.
