1997 U295 Speedometer

Mine has finally gone bad. All it does is sweep to full and then back to zero. Then a few moments later it does the same thing.

I doing searches it looks like the replacement was the VDO 437152 or 437 152 (older # 1 211 012 341?)I can not seem to find any right now.  There is one on Ebay but he says he does not have any.  Is there a new number that is being used now?

You can get it from foretravel, I researched and their price was very fair if not cheaper than anything on eBay

Not sure if my 99 U320 has the same equipment as yours but Last week I had requested assistance from this forum about issues with my VDO speedometer.  Recommendation to contact below shop and they will repair yours for a reasonable price.  I called the shop and they informed me it should be a couple days turn around time upon receiving my speedometer for repair then they will ship it back.

Go on website (www.lspeedo.com) and click upper right corner menu, click repair services and then click Odometer statement.  Fill out your info, current or last known mileage reading and sign it. Ship form and speedometer.  Multiple members had responded they have utilized this shop and when I called them they were very cordial/helpful on the phone.
