"In an emergency" HWH says Dexron III will work just fine the only significant difference being the red dye in the Dexron. No caveat that I can find about flushing out the Dexron if you do use it for an emergency repair. Having been present at several HWH leak events I believe all of them exhibited red fluid.I am not a representative of HWH Corporation so you're on your own when deciding what fluid to use.
