Potential Grand Villa Taillights

I just got an alert from Row52 that an 86 Isuzu Impulse has been added to the Pick-n-Pull salvage yard in Sparks, Nevada.  I believe that is the donor for the taillights on a Grand Villas up to '94.  I have no idea if the taillights are still on this car or what condition they may be in, but that is a bit too far from Kansas City for me to go look.  I don't need them, but if someone is in the area wants to check them out, those cars are pretty rare anymore and I don't think anyone produces replacement lights.

Thanks,
Mike & Lilli

Since foretravel flipped your tail lights you would need a left-hand one.

No, just decided it was too much trouble, labor, and expense to try to sell them for what I had in them.
We are retired and making and selling is just way too time consuming during the summer.
Most likely the new wiring configuration will go with the coach when we decide to sell the coach.

Waking up an old thread here, but if anyone is looking for taillights to fit a Grand Villa, an '84 Isuzu Impulse turned up in a Pick-n-Pull here in Kansas City.  Actually two did, an '86 turned up in another yard the same day.  I grabbed the lights off the '86 as as spares, but if somebody needs the others I can go get them an ship them to you.  They want about $50 for the pair.  I did take a quick look, they seem complete and undamaged.

Nitehawk worked his magic on my spare set, he took all the wobble out of the sockets and pig tail plug-in. Everything is riveted down and hard wired, beautiful work. When my LEDs arrive and the snow goes I'll install my new and greatly improved tail lights. Over the 9 years I've had my Gran Villa those tail lights have had more than a reasonable amount of attention and failures, so if I never have to fiddle with them again then it's money well spent.  Big Thanks to Nitehawk

Thanks for the compliments, Mike.
I bought another set of sockets so I can turn a rebuild around in about a week.

Agree - it seems every year or so, someone is looking for them.  If you have the space, grab them and store them.  A Foretravel owner will thank you in the future!

Okay, the second set was successfully grabbed.  One of the right units (left on a GV) is missing the socket holder section, but at least is a spare set of lenses.  I will keep the search running on Row52 and when anymore of the Isuzu donors turn up I will post any that are too far away from me.
