lighted mirror switches

Ok. All of a sudden my left mirror switched is illuminated when the engine is running. Just came on 2 days ago. My right one is still dark. I didn't know they were back lighted! I suppose they have bulbs? Pretty strange. This happened after i changed the isolator and 3 breakers, ? Can I just pop the mirror control out or open the entire shelf to check a bulb?

I have not had issues of them not working but mine are illuminated all the time the key is on.

Yep they just pop out. Foretravel has them if one is broken

Is there a replacement bulb or do you have to replace the switch?

As Keith says, just pull out the switch. Then pull up the little slider deal that holds the bulb and pull the bulb out. You can get replacement bulbs at any auto store. All my switches are also illuminated when the key is in the on position.
