Need new eprom chip for Allison transmission

I have a 1992 40" Grand Villa with an Allison transmission. We Just changed out the computer for the transmission but to find out the EPROM chip was damaged and I need a new one. Can anyone help with finding a new one.

Thank you

Ben

I would suspect that replacing the chip in a CPU is gonna require a visit to a authorized Allison repair facility.  In some cases, the CPU must be "custom" programmed for the specific vehicle or engine/transmission combo.

I just noticed John has added another family member to the repair shop staff.  Hopefully this will insure continuation of his valuable and basically irreplaceable service.  Many of our Forum members (myself included) would be in a big hurt without benefit of his technical expertise.
