Outdoor TV Box

Hope this finds you all safe,
I added an outside tv box to my 07 Nimbus this spring. I was hoping to watch the NCAA tournaments while on vacation in Florida, but alas I was stuck with games shows and soap operas. Oh well.
This unit opens and closes with the touch of a remote.
Got the box from Garard after seeing them advertised online. I had been thinking of this for quite awhile after removing the factory tv option in the second bay. It was too low and too far forward. I made a mount that pulled out of the fridge access but soon tired of wrestling it up and down also. Had to have a permanent box. Got to admit the fear of cutting a 3' x 4' hole in the side of your coach will make you (and others) question your sanity. Did a lot of measuring planning and exploring before I made the first cut. The box was 6" deep and I only had 5.25 to the back of the shower. I knew I would have to shim it out an inch for clearance.  All went pretty well. Cut through the metal skeleton under the fiberglass and welded an inner frame to tie all the bracing back . The box isn't used for support. Made shims with a Cope product that we found that would hold paint. Epoxyed it to the lip on the box. Neighbor is a friend and an excellent painter. He hit the factory graphics spot on. Installed a 50" Samsung and a Klipsh sound bar with a sub tucked in behind the shower cabinet. Also a Sony 12 volt radio to handle AM/FM and streaming. Made a trip to Florida and another to Georgia and no issues. Will try and post pictures.
Stay safe.

Larry,

Really nice installation.  And as you said the paint match is nothing short of amazing.  Great job.
