Propane Tank Piping Arrangement - What are the components

What are the numbered components in the attached picture of the LP tank piping

I am assuming #2 is the solenoid for the LP gas detector and #4 is the regulator, is that correct?

What are #1 and #3?

Asking because I am considering removing the LP gas detector solenoid.  Do not have gas to the cook top and the LP detector has been replaced with a two wire model (at least that is what it appear to me).    From reading other posts, sounds like replacing the regulator at the same time is prudent.

Thanks.

1. Aftermarket tap for grill, etc.
3.  First stage of two state regulator.  You could tap here for (off the top of my head around 10 PSI gas pressure).  VERY rare to see this used
