Early IFS still supported at factory?

Looking thru the classifieds last few months has revealed a few early 2001/02 IFS coaches for sale.
I have looked at past discussions, and see the different opinions posted of both owners and non-owners of these coaches.

My concern is if these are still supported or are parts still available for these rare birds...  20-36 units made.    I pull a 24' car trailer a few times a year to race my old datsun, and really think a 36' IFS would be incredibly more maneuverable in the paddock areas then my 40' U320 I have now.

    Any thoughts are welcome.

Hi Jeff,
I'm referring to the front suspension bits and pieces that makeup the IFS

David, what I meant was that they still support parts for my old coach so they may do that for yours as well. It's worth a call.

Some of the older country coaches independent front suspension systems parts are no longer available so the posters question is more than valid. Call Foretravel

I'm mostly a FT fan primarily due to this forum and the build quality of FT.  That being said Country Coach rvs with IFS front suspension are no slouch.  Also though be aware of the huge difference between an Inspire and an Intrigue Country Coach.  You will find some of the shorter CC rvs having very little basement storage.

As far as service, they are well supported in Junction City, OR by Priemere RV Service and Oregon Motorcoach.  The front IFS suspention parts are from the trucking industry, no lack of parts there.

Jack the CC owners group are reporting that some of the Granning? Independent front suspension main parts are not available.  They were bought up by another company and discontinued.

Same thing happened to the Midland-Grau ABS system on the early Unicoaches.

Yes, I had trouble finding an ABS valve for a 1992 Monaco I owned. I ended up getting one from a wrecker.

As fas as the Reyco Granning parts, they have been used by fire apparatus, cross country truckers, as well as the rv industry.

I've often, as I know you have, helped others on this forum when they said they could not find a part.  So when I read a part is unavailable, my first thought is user error in searching.  All is posible though, I've just never encountered issues with ABS, cruise control, air conditioning, bushing parts, etc., that were not resolved after being told no parts were available.  So yes I'd believe parts may be harder to find, just not impossible.

If you are considering purchasing an IFS rv and are concerned with this issue, first find out the mfg of the IFS used, and the actual model.  Google, the mfg., and forums can be your friend in researching this for yourself.

CC used multiple sources for their IFS coaches.  Some of the parts on some of the models are not available per the web.

If granning is available that's nice.

This was a courtesy post for the OP to maybe find out from Foretravel if the system they used is supported.

I only noticed on a long ago web search that some country coach owners with some systems had found certain parts not available.

As I do not have a IFS coach personally i only noted the potential issue and did not memorialize the actual models affected
