DVD with 270 MB Technical Info for 2003 U 320


From the previous owner I received a thumb drive with 270 MB technical Information on the coach, consisting among others most operating and installation manuals of all major systems. Picture shows partial list of files.

Much of the information is also relevant to other model year coaches.

Michelle asked me to send the information to the Forum with Email, but the file is too large.

I have burnt several copies to DVD (and have actually mailed one already to a member) and am quite willing to mail a copy to anyone who makes a request and sends his mailing address to:  petersklauserwin@gmail.com

And no, you do not need to send a self addressed envelope, unless all 6000+ members want a copy.

A very generous and kind offer!  Excellent example of "paying forward" the benefits we ALL receive from the Forum.

You might consider mailing a disk to Michelle?

If you posted this to your google drive and shared it (Meet Google Drive – One place for all your files) which you should have with your gmail account, I would be happy to download these and host these on the web assuming there are no copyright issues.

I have asked about that option as well.  If it's not feasible I will send my mailing address.  I just wanted to save anyone the cost of postage  :)

To all:

I had offered to Ms Michelle to put the file on Dropbox or send it with Me transfer, I can certainly live without her mailing address, I just burnt a bunch of DVD's. 

But tonight I will post all the files on Google Drive (which should be within my computer skills).
I am just old fashioned (had to learn Fortran in University) and am partial to physical storage media like DVD.

So, whoever sends a mailing address, will get a DVD, my IRA will pay for postage.

I've not seen a notice from Dropbox, but Google Drive with sharing works for me since it makes things easy.  We would have to buy an external DVD drive for physical media - none of our devices have one.  That's why I didn't request one of the DVDs be mailed to me.

Ms Michelle,

My friend who helps me with computers (and set up this computer for me) is sick, and I am still trying to figure out Google Drive.  I found out that I have all sort of things stored on there that I did not know of.

I have in the meantime loaded (successfully) all FT Info files into my OneDrive, so they are in the cloud, just not in Google Drive.

If I will not have solved the problem by next weekend, I will mail you an external DVD (USB) with a DVD, I have at least 2 spare ones.

 My wife will just have to take on a greater share of the winter preparation for the farm.

You can likely share from onedrive as well if you wanted.  You should be able to right click on the folder and there should be an option like "get link" or "get shareable link" or something like that.  It should warn you that anyone with the link can access the files.  You'd just copy that to your clipboard and paste in this thread.  Anyone else getting the dvd's could post the content too so you don't have to.

Actually, don't post in the thread since that can potentially be content-scraped and the onedrive link be shared well beyond the intended audience.

Better to offer link via personal message or e-mail exchange if you go that route.
