Bathroom upgrade!

Found something to do on a rainy cool day here in TN.  Have wanted to do this for some time and I believe this gave the bath a nice upgrade.  Purchased these at Home Depot, they are peel and stick.  Easier said than done, but if you take your time, remember, patients is a virtue!

I would be afraid of too much of that look.  Think I will leave it as is!

I did this in real tile for over 10 years in Florida.  People found out I could do flooring, plumbing, etc. and it was on!  Love doing these upgrades!  Depends Tommy, how close are you to TN right now!  lol

Joe, iI knew you were a tile setter in past life.. What kind of luck could a guy expect for the tile to stay in place on the walls of the step well. I wanted to get it done in Peñasco but already had a lot going on with Antonio so now Plan to get a tile setter hear at home to do it.. Recommend or no? Would rather use the small 2in pieces vs the standard floor size tile.

Dub, I will be doing my entry way in a couple of weeks or less.  I will be using glass tile that comes in 12x12 sheets.  Use a good mastic and once grout is applied, it will go no where.  Looks really nice when done.  You will need a small wet saw or take your chances with an angle grinder to cut the tile with.  You have lots of offsets to go around.  Also planning on installing LED lighting around the steps before installing the tile.  I will hook these up to the small light that is at the bottom of the steps for my 12 volt supply.  Will make sure I do photos of this to help others like you, buddy!  HD & Lowes has a very nice supply of 12 inch squares of these in stock.  Generally these are in the $10 to $15 range per square and you should need no more than 6 squares!  You can do this!

Lovely. I've been debating between stick on and actual tile for kitchen backsplash.

I like using real tile for back splashes, but these are quick and less mess to clean up.  I would recommend an epoxy grout for the real tile.  You must be quick in cleaning the overage off, or you will know why!  Really solid when done and no fear of cracking or falling out.  As long as your surface is smooth and no soft areas, you will not need backer board to lay tile on.

Tommy, we are about 35 miles from the KY border, in Watertown, TN, just a few miles from Lebanon at our sons home.  If you are near Bowling Green or Scottsville, easy drive.  Just saying............

Was just in your neighborhood a couple of weeks ago riding horses in Big South Fork.  For some reason my DW is starting to get testy when I leave in the Foretravel without her???  I'm self employed while she still reports to the boss on a daily basis. Will definitely keep it in mind if I get down that way.  We drove to Daniel Boone National Forest last weekend to ride the ranger but didn't stay overnight.

100 miles from Chris probably 150 from Lynn. We had a gathering planned where some Ark people were going to get together but the virus got in the way for this time.

Looks great!

Working with the peel and stick has to be so much easier than full tile.  We had done the backsplashes in the kitchen and the bath of our 2003 with tile, and they were quite the projects!
