Mtb648 retarded

I have a leak on the output retarder,but can't tell if it's coming of the cover or two of the 12 mm mounting bolts.my Allison aren't of much help on this older trans. Finally found a guy in Indianapolis that actually knew what I was talking about and gave me the part # for the cover and gasket.has anyone taken the accumulator cover off with out the Allison special tool?

No, but I gotta ask:  What does the special Allison tool do for you?

Fill out your signature so we know where you are and what coach you have and a picture would be helpful,clean off the area with
some soap and you can tell better where the leak is.Think there may be a couple of us that have changed out that part.
