Hydraulic oil

Good evening everyone,
I'm getting ready to change my hydraulic fluid and want to make sure I put in the correct oil.

I know it's 15-40 but does it matter if it's Diesel engine oil or reg gasoline engine oil?

Beam Alarm just says motor oil

Thanks

I use the mobil delvac 15-40 same as engine I'm sure there use different oils
as Bret has stated in the past be sure to drain ALL oil out of tank before pulling filters to avoid contamination past filter

I use Shell Rotella 15-40 same as the motor. Delo is another one. Personally I do it because one oil for motor gen and hyd. I'm going to bet it came from FT with the same oil as the motor.

I changed ours out a several months ago. I used Rotella 15W40 T6. T6 is the synthetic version. Best price on the oil was at Walmart.

You can also get them at MHC.  MHC Parts | All Parts for All Makes
I did the on-line chat, told them what I wanted, they email a quote and I picked them up at the local MHC shop.
