Windshield wiper issue

Hi all,

Has anyone dealt with this, my driver side wiper often extends just past the curve of the windshield and gets hung up. It then takes me manually pulling it to the center (while stopped) to get the wipers working again.  RainX does not seem to work well on my windshield which is a bummer. Hence the reason I need to fix my wipers.

best regards,

Tom,
Is your wiper going all the way to the center of the windshield ? If not, you may just need to adjust it at the pivot to get it to full center, therefore not extending past the curved part of the winshield.

I will check. Any suggestions on how to adjust it?

Been a while since I had mine off, but if I remember correctly, there are two pivots for each wiper.  The caps should unscrew allowing you to move the wiper arms. With the wipers turned off in the "rest" position, they should both be parallel to the center strip of the windshield.
It's been a long time since I had mine off, maybe someone will chime in to insure that's the best answer.

My drivers side wiper stopped way to the left of vertical, past the radius of the windshield. Turns out the splines were stripped out on the wiper arm. The splines on the motor were fine. I ordered a new arm from Foretravel parts. You will most likely need a puller to get the wiper off of the motor
