Inverter to 120V or reverse hookup

OK, just pondering here.
In the back of our cedar closet there is an inverter mounted on the outside wall and on the wall behind the bedroom TV (still in the closet) there is a 120V outlet. These two items are less than one foot apart.
Currently I have to go into the closet, move everything on the right side hanger pole to the left, then plug the TV into whichever electrical source I require. Not a big deal. Not done often. But is there a better way?

So the inverter is only used as a stand-alone alternate power source for the TV?  It is not hard wired into the coach circuits?

Why not just leave the TV plugged into the inverter all the time?  If your coach is connected to shore power your onboard battery charger should keep your house batteries charged so leaving the "TV" inverter running should not be a problem.  Most modern LCD TVs do not draw a lot of power.

Agree.  I removed the bedroom TV in our coach.  I need my beauty sleep.  If the DW wants to stay up all night watching TV then she can do that up front on the couch.  8)

I like to sit up and read. The DW likes to go to bed but catch the OTA news & weather. Other than that the bedroom TV seldom gets used.
I am going to keep the TV plugged into the inverter.
Thanks Chuck.
