2000 U320 generator

The generator red light fault light inside the coach at dash stays on when the generator is off. The red light fault code goes off when the generator is running. The Prosine Inverter has a red fault light that is on also. I start the generator from the outside and the fault light goes off but once I turn it off, the red light reoccurs.

When the generator fault light on the dash comes on did you look at the fault lights on the generator ES52 module?
If so was the over crank light on?
Were you on shore power when you restarted the generator?
The reason for these questions is due to the fault light that your Prosine Inverter has on. All this could be related to a battery connection bad, bad ground, or a  faulty battery.

To further Mike's comment, what does the fault code on the Prosine panel resolve to?  If you have the ACS panel, I think you can scroll through the messages.  If not, there's a procedure in the manual that describes how to retrieve fault codes:

The manual is on the forum here:  https://www.foreforums.com/index.php?action=media;sa=media;in=1186

The error code info starts on p. 88
