How to remove drivers side window screen?

Hi All,
I just need to reattach the screen to the screen frame. However when I began to pull out the plastic shim. It is breaking apart from age. Where could we find replacement plastic shim material?

Not familiar with the windows in a GV, but...  do you mean pulling out the spline and replacing it?  (the black cord that holds the screen material in the screen frame channel?)  If that's what it is, most hardware and big box home improvement stores carry screen spline in the screen repair aisle.  Be aware there are different sizes/widths and there's a handy roller tool that makes it easier to install.

When we had a GV I replaced all of those plastic screen channels as mine too were starting to go. Foretravel was selling it by the foot at the time.

Took the screen out on the drivers side, it always seemed to be in the way when entering military bases.
We'll be at the gathering in May.

I have never been able to find the correct spline for the driver/passenger windows. It is way thinner than any I could find at the big box stores or even Amazon or EBay. .125 was the smallest I found and it was just a little too big. I did get it in but it was a PIA!
