Michelin x line energy z or xze?

Buying a set of Michelin's. Which of these is quietest and most stable steering? Does less tread equal better steering?

Xze seems to have been around longer, x line energy new design.

Hi: Mike and Molly. I hope things are great at Retama. Last time we needed tires in 2018, I bought 6 Michelin X line steer tires and did not notice any difference from my previous Xze tires.

In our size, 275 80R 22.5, XZE are H rated while the X-line are G rated.  So I put 8 XZEs on my coach for $4100 from National Tire Concerige Service.  They provide Michelin and B F Goodrich tires nation wide at prices less than FMCA with a 3 year wheel and tire road hazard warranty included.

In 2014 we installed Michelin x multi energy LRH. They've served well but have a distinctive whine on some road surfaces.
