What is the yellow cable hanging in one of your pics for and where does it go?  I just redid my 98 tv and I have the same cable although I really did not follow it

Looks like the air supply to the air horns.

How do you plan on covering headliner and front valance and hide where cabinets were mounted against them. I am in begining stages of same project. Have old tv cabinet removed trying to figure how to reconfigure new setup.

I used a thin sheet of plywood (3mm) and wrapped it with a vinyl fabric purposely not trying to match the ceiling or anything else and attached it to the ceiling covering up the place where the old cabinet was.

40" TV hangs on a mount attached to front framing, moves in and out, left and right, swivels left and right tilts up or down.  Mostly just stays where it is.  The mount is much heavier than the TV.

Thanks Roger that looks great. Bruce I am restricted to a 32 in as I have a amp up there so I used as much space as I could. Peter
that is a air horn hose. The previous owner had done a great job on the flat screen change over but I wanted a bigger screen.
I would have put a 40 inch in if I could. I already have a TV mount and you are right Roger they are heavier than the TV

What is consensus. New amp or send out Bose and have rebuilt/modernized with blue tooth and cd removed

I didn't have a choice as the previous owner had pulled the Bose amp and all the front speakers. I only have the bedroom speakers.
I really like the Sony amp and the speakers I got. It a great surround sound system.

I didn't want to replace speakers that still work well so had the Bose refurbed.  Much cheaper too.
BTW my hearing ain't great, tinnitus and all, an expensive new sound system would be wasted on my ears.

I just installed a 43 inch Samsung at the front, as well as under in the bay for outside viewing. I ran cat 6 cables for the long lengths soI would not lose the 4K capability. I will forward some pics when I get home to snap them.

I ran HDMI cables to all locations using a 3 way HDMI splitter.

PO built new cabinet out of walnut, and installed 36". It has a lock handle for travel, comes out moves around when you park.

No offense but I don't get watching TV outside in a bay. I guess if I was watching a super bowl game or something like that which case I think I'd want to put a projection out there and projected onto the side of the coach now that would be kind of cool. I've seen lots of coaches at motorhomes of Texas with those screens out in the bay and I'm thinking it's a waste of space. But that's just me if you like it that's cool.
These days all I do is stream over the internet and most of it is off of YouTube. I don't want to satellite dish on my roof, I don't want a TV in my outside Bay etc. I find that I spend more time outside now and less time inside watching TV, or outside watching TV. I didn't even hook up my local antenna.
I cannot telling any of you guys what you should do just saying what I do.

My wife loves to sit outside by a roaring fire, but we both also love to watch certain episodes of tv programing, so we get the best of both worlds.

Pics of my installs to follow.

I am running cat 6 cables to all the long length connections (bedroom and bay) because of the degration of the signal with hdmi cables of that length. Anything over 20 feet, 4K signals are unstable and we have installed 4K Tvs in all locations for viewing.

Looks good, I'm sure you will be glad to get rid of the head knocker cabinet.  I was able to remove the black paint over spray on the ceiling liner with graffiti  remover that the big box stores usually have.  The indentation in the ceiling liner never entirely went away though.

Here's how I finished mine out, piece of 1/8 Luan, hull liner material, and a little contact cement.

Not true, we have my moho, and my home done in HDMI runs. The secret is high quality HDMI cables and powered HDMI amplified splitters. 3 of the runs in my home are 75' each. All TV's on, looks perfect. They even have a HDMI switcher inline.

Only issue I get is when another TV turns on, it drops sound and picture on any TV already on. Lasts about 5 seconds. Doesn't bother me

Nothing wrong with cat 5 cables though. May be easier to run.

Mine was indented. Here is a trick. Use it all the time on carpet when we rearrange the furniture.

Take a fairly wet towel. Take a steam iron, let it heat up. Hold the wet towel on imprint, hold the iron on the wet towel. It will completely go away. Try it several times.

Us too...We too don't sit and watch TV all day, but out in the desert, with a fire from our fire pit, breathtaking And the super bowl or drags is really fun.

All my buddies come watch the NHRA drags when we are actually drag racing and can't watch. Better then everyone piled in my coach!

Jerry the head basher had been removed by the previous owner and he built a new cabinet. I forgot to take a picture but my son was
holding the side panel up so I could take a picture of it. He did a beautiful job. Thanks for all the ideas for the ceiling.
