I have the Fumoto.  I like how I can directly drain into a gallon jug, shut it off, and switch out to the next jug.  No transferring from a large pan into jugs.

I envisioned this when I bought the Fumoto valve.  Until I realized my new jugs won't be empty until the new oil is in the system....  I never have enough empty jugs lying around.  Oh well, it's still easier ;)

In our small town, I can call Waste Management and they will drop off several 2 1/2 gallon containers for oil. They will pick up the next week or NAPA/Autozone will also take the waste oil.

I have used this for years and really like it.  After use, wipe it down and hang it in my shop.

I like it because I change all my cars oil based on time not mileage(we don't roll up much mileage) and I can do all three cars into the pan and just do one clean up.

No-Spill™ Systems Oil Drain Plug – Official Site

My first oil change on our 1998, and the aluminum pan threads stripped.  I have gathered the tools, and am waiting on the repair part.  Believe me when I tell you I have the No Spill in hand, and it is going on there.

Matt what repair part and tools did you need to repair your oil pan? Mine stripped today..🙁

I did a write up for the forum.  I will look for it later if fellow forum mates don't beat me to it.

Repaired. Had the Cummins fix it sleeve installed and a no spill Drain plug installed... Hopefully no more problems.. kinda wish now I would have gotten the compact drain plug but I'm happy with this one...

You might actually be better off with the standard drain plug that you have rather than the compact.  I chose the compact because I have a frame member near the plug that creates a space limitation.  My issue with the compact is that, due to the shorter threads, it makes it a little challenging to attach the drain hose without depressing the internal valve and leaking a little oil.  I suspect the standard version won't have that issue.  Also, give yourself plenty of time for an oil change....it drains very slowly compared to the OEM plug.

I have the compact model and have no issues with the oil leaking while I screw the drain adaptor in. Put the bucket under the pan, screw the adaptor in and all the oil stays inside  the plastic tube.

Had compact model for many years, and it works just fine. Not sure what problem some have with compact. We also have spare compact drain hose because if we misplace the hose, draining would be a problem.
