Fumoto oil drain valve

Just wondering who uses the Fumoto oil drain valve? Pros cons? Is there a specific size for my 8.3 Cummins? Thanks!

I have the no spill system and it is awesome. The advantage of the no spill is it doesn't hang down any more than a drain plug and
the disadvantage is you could lose the the drain part as it is stored when not in use. Either system makes it a lot less messy when
draining oil and if you have an aluminum pan ( I think the 8.3 is steel) it will save the drain plug threads.

Is this no spill system something unique to your coach or is this something I can obtain somewhere?

No-Spill™ Systems Oil Drain Plug – Official Site

My first oil change on our 1998, and the aluminum pan threads stripped.  I have gathered the tools, and am waiting on the repair part.  Believe me when I tell you I have the No Spill in hand, and it is going on there.

I have the Fumoto on both the engine and generator pans.  Easy to drain and no mess as well.  Either system works, so whatever floats your boat!  Not sure on your size, we have the M11 450.

I have the Fumoto.  I like how I can directly drain into a gallon jug, shut it off, and switch out to the next jug.  No transferring from a large pan into jugs.

Bob, I just ordered the Fumoto original F104N
I cross reference the measurements for the drain valve and came up with this one. I'm crossing my fingers it's the correct one

RE: disadvantage of losing no-spills drain hose

We bought a spare drainer hose and keep it separate from original..

To save drain plug problems, we recommend No-Spills COMPACT style. Draining is easier, but slower.

We have them on Cummins C8.3 and Gen Isuzu 8000. Used to have them on Jeep

Keith on my '99 with an Isuzu engine I used a Fumoto F105N valve.  This is a 20mm x 1.5 thread size and might be the same thread as your Kubota.

It was the correct one. I used it to drain the oil but I put the old drain cap back on as I was concerned that the fumoto valve might get broken off the way it hung down. I use the Shop-Vac trick on the oil fill and changed out the valves and never spilled a drop, it was pretty cool.

That's what I like about the no spill it doesn't hang down. I think both are great
depending on the application.
