New kitchen faucet

Well,
We got to the coach yesterday and as we were loading up my DW turned the water on to give our 4 legged children some water.
When I went to get some more stuff from the car I noticed water dripping on the floor on the outside of the coach.
I thought it was strange because the air conditioner was not on so I came back insideI noticed the area around the kitchen faucet was wet on top.
I turned it on again and it started leaking.
Went and purchased a new kitchen faucet from Home Depot and attempted to remove and replace our leaking Faucet.
Everything went well until it was time to reconnect.  the cone shaped washers for the pecks tubing were brittle and falling apart, half of it was missing.
I know Home Depot doesn't carry pecks tubing so off to Lowe's I went. This is the second time I look for cone shaped washers for the pecks tubing and have not been able to find them sold as an individual piece I always have to buy a coupling which has the washer on it.
In the end everything worked out we were able to get everything reconnected with no leaks.

I'll need to look online for those washers.

Pex. Have to hate spell checker.  On a recent Lowes trip. Found many different brands, types of pex connectors. From sharkbite, to others that appear to be for yard water supplies.

I ask the man at the local Lowes why they didn't carry cone washers-- he said they never sold-- which I find hard to believe but I got the Idea they wanted you to buy the entire  fitting--more$$

Frank,  you could have just cut off the ends of the PEKs lines and installed quarter turn ball cock valves with sharkbite fittings.  Easy to install and will work for years to come!  Just an FYI!
