Drivers seat has no power

Seat in our 99 U270 was working when we got home four weeks ago, yesterday got in to go and there is no adjustment, checked this morning and it has no power. It looks like both seats are powered from the same 30amp breaker. Tried looking in the forum data base and could not find any answers.
The co pilot seat is powered up and operating.
The dead drivers seat is not in the most comfortable position so I would really appreciate anyone's help
Thanks

Check the salesman switch by the front door.  Speaking from experience....

I had a similar problem, I found mini breakers behind a panel in the wet bay basement section. I have a 93 GV 280

I'm surprised your seats would be powered by a 30 amp breaker, I would think they would be on your 12-volt system??

Mike that's what the schematic says, and it's on the 12 volt system because they work when we are not plugged in,
Either way, the question is not what system but any ideas as to why or where the drivers seat has lost power

David,
If you've confirmed with a meter that no power is going to the plug connection under the seat, I would look for the mini breakers for the 12v systems, perhaps the seats are on individual circuits?? I'm really new at this but I did have a similar problem that I couldn't figure out until I found these breakers in my wet bay behind a fiberglass panel. I can send you a picture of mine when I get home Right now I'm still at work

What ground are you using to confirm 12V. On my seat the ground wire was bad and had to be replaced.

Is it possible that the motor is bad?

If he is not getting power (positive and ground) to the plug below the seat, THAT is where to start.

I am going to check the ground and the mini breakers underneath: never been there.
It's not a motor issue it's no power on the wire.
As wolf says I got to go from the point of no power, just looking for info on where to go "so I can move the seat"

If you had one of these you would already have the seat repositioned while trouble shooting. And Power Probes solve many issues.

There is power on the seat side of the 30 amp breaker in the storage bay, ran a temporary ground and that did nothing?
Any idea where the wire splits to the two seats?

On my 2001 u320 there is a separate buss for both the seats. Top right and corner of all the circuit breakers in front of the step area. Good news is that you know the buss is getting power. Check after the automatic resetting breaker for power. I'll be in there in about a hour on my coach running new power for camera and my SEOSI system. I'll post a picture of them .

Am I correct thinking that both seats are in the same circuit? If yes then power from coach is not an issue, co pilot seat operates.
It's not a ground, ran a temporary wire and no luck.
Does anyone know where the wires are spliced before they come to the seat?

They are on the same buss different circuit breakers. You know buss is powered up. Need to check the right c/b to see if it failed

Thanks for the info, I will look at it tomorrow and see if one of the circuit breakers has tripped and not reset

David,
1. The power to the buss that is hid behind the kick panel is one manual reset breaker located in the basement. With one seat having power the basement breaker is good.
1a. Once the power gets to the buss bar in the dash there are 2 self resetting breakers (unless someone has changed it out). Like Scott is explaining in reply 17. These do go bad after a while if they have bee tripping and resetting.
2. They should not be tied together as they are on separate breakers in the dash. The drivers side wire comes all the way under the dash and emerge out the back side of the console (that holds the retarder control) under the couch, then goes under the carpet to the seat base.
