Generator problem

I changed the oil and the oil filter and air filter in my generator 6500 LP. Can I start the generator when I'm plugged into ShorePower? I unplugged shore power got the generator started but I have no power to the coach?? I see a little arrow about a breaker on the side of the generator engine but now I can't get the generator to start to test it. It worked fine before I just wanted to change the fluids because they were due but now there is a problem.

Michael,

1.Yes if the transfer switch is working correctly
2. This could be the transfer switch not swapping from shore to generator.
3. You can turn the breaker off and back on to make sure that it  is not tripped
3a.  Check and clean the battery cable  ends and the ground cable ends.
3b. Check the oil pressure switch to see if the wire is loose.
3c.  You did get it full of oil and double checked

Mike, thanks for the tips, it was the breaker on the side of the generator, everything is working good.
