bus style bay door latch

Read previous posts on using the Monaco Winnebago latches but never saw how it was done. With the cable loop in the old latch I didn't want to mess with the cable. I cut an opening in the old latch to remove it and modified the new one to go back on.

No. That is the wrong style latch. The latch connects to a striker pin.  Picture of like latch attached.

The latch I posted is for the bottom of the parallel bay doors that use cables.
