Valence rope lighting

My 98 U320 has rope accent lighting under all the valences except the kitchen window.
I have noticed that several of the individual bulbs on all of them are burnt out, I suspect just becuase of age.
Does anyone have an idea of where to get replacements?  I would like the rope style to fit in the exiting holders in a warm white...(accent lighting only...not super bright) maybe led..if possible
I require 5- 5 foot lengths and 2- 2 foot lengths.
Ideas?

LED strip lighting is available in different brightness and can be gotten in warm. We have a LED store in
Vancouver where you can go in and they have a display so you know what you are getting and they
sell it by the foot. Maybe you may have something like that in Edmonton?

Do they sell "rope" lighting? I would like to use the existing snap on holders.

I purchased a spool of rope lights- make sure you measure the diameter- as there are different sizes

Could you spool be cut into different lengths and then just hard wired for the exiting wiring?

Peter, there are many options.  LED strips can be cut about every three inches. Wires can be attached using crimp on connectors or bu soldering new ones on (much more reliable).  You probably will be more pleased with lower Kelvin temp (around 3000) lights, more incandescent in appearance. Use 3528 elements, try to find 150 per 5 meter spool (hard to find now) they normally will have 300 elements.  Dimmers work well to adjust the light level.  They generallu need to connect to bothe positive and negative wires to the LED strips. This is the tricky part ...

Peter I went out and looked at the ones in the bed room and they are stapled in.
If I was wanting to use them I would change them to LED strip lighting. The strip
lighting should stick to the wood. The ones in the front were removed by the
previous owner and the switch for them used for my hot water recurc pump.
