Unconventional camera idea

Just want to throw the idea out there for the wise and knowledgable folks to yeah, nay or laugh...

I have searched high and low on our forum and looked around other places.
Saw a video of a guy that used a similar set-up to the one pictured below.
I know Tadi Brothers are the go to for such matters.

But wanted to see what you all thought of this set-up?

It would be used primarily for stationary security, but could also record for driving incidents...
Thoughts?
Thanks, John

I have no experience with the recording system you have mentioned above.  That said....

It is hard to beat Wyze cams for their quality and affordability.  We have 2 of them installed.

The new Wyze Cam V3 has amazing night vision and the Cam Pan gives full PTZ capabilities.

We have a Wyze Pan Cam in the glass cabinets in the front of the coach that allows us to see everything in the coach except the dashboard.  The only caveat is night vision doesn't work well through glass.  So if we are away from the coach for any period of time, we will leave the glass door popped open.  Otherwise, we simply turn on our lights via the Alexa app and that allows us to check on the coach any time.

We also have a Wyze Cam V3 which we have mounted behind the MCD shade looking down at the dashboard because that is where our cat sleeps and we are mainly checking on our cat.  The night vision on this camera is fantastic.  It could be mounted towards the road to work as a dash cam.  The nice thing about most if not all Wyze cams is that they allow for continuous recording to an SD card so it could function as a dash cam.  ^.^d

There are a lot of reviews of PTZ cameras on YouTube.  It is really hard to beat the Wyze Cam Pan at $37.97!    :D

The screenshot below was just taken from the Wyze Pan Cam through the smoked Lexan glass.
