Propane regulator mounting

Basic rule: always take a picture before you remove stuff so you know how it goes back.

Need a picture of the propane regulator set up like mine from a 2004.

This is after I removed it:

If you are going from a single stage regulator to a longer two stage, you should probably add a support toward the end to eliminate flexing.

And ABSOLUTELY verify that the small screened area (vent) points straight down.

Larry a side note were your vent tub goes threw the floor needs to be sealed around the opening top and bottom side to prevent water or diesel fuel from contaminating the inner foam core. Water leads to corrosion and fuel leads to destruction of the foam core. Prevention is much easier than repair. This is first hand information.

Yes, sealed both in the basement compartment and underneath.

Looked closely at picture sent by Bruce and Linda and see that both green ground wires seem to go the same place on the piping.  Is that right?

One of mine goes to the grounding clamp on the lower pipe.  The clamp is there in the picture but  without a wire.

The regulator and the lower pipe that it is attached to are isolated from chassis ground because both ends are connected via hoses.

Here are a couple closer pictures.

I don't know why the 2 grounds are connected to the same clamp vs one going to the clamp by the regulator. It was that way when we acquired the coach. Now that I look at it close up, its not the cleanest of jobs with loose strands sticking out. I suspect it may have been moved at some point. As you say the regulator has 2 rubber hoses connected to it so it is isolated but perhaps any metal should be grounded to prevent static electricity discharge.

I'll move the 2nd ground down to the regulator clamp.
